Dr. Richard Silver

Dr. Richard Silver

Dr. Richard Silver, the founder of Silver Lake Wellness Center, has been a licensed physician for over 40 years. He has been certified in Anti-Aging Medicine, Addiction Medicine, and Family Practice. He also has eleven years experience in non-surgical facial aesthetics.

His many years of conventional medicine experience in addition to formal training in Anti-Aging Medicine gives him a unique perspective on how to merge “state-of-the-art” traditional medicine with integrative healthcare services. Dr. Silver has a more thorough appreciation of cellular health as it relates to advanced disease detection and prevention. If we can improve cellular health, we can improve quality of life, minimize disability, and increase the functional lifespan. Reducing age related morbidity results in healthier and happier people!

Get your medical marijuana card the same day as your appointmentNow that Ohio law allows use of medical marijuana, Dr Silver believes that there is opportunity to treat the underlying condition that contributes to many diseases.  This underlying condition is an endocannabinoid deficiency. If the human body does not produce sufficient cannabinoids necessary for homeostasis, then repleting like compounds through a relatively safe plant such as cannabis can improve symptoms and quality of life.

In addition to providing recommendations for medical marijuana to patients with qualifying conditions, Dr Silver is helping to train other physicians in Ohio to do this important work.
